F.A.Q.

  • What is the salary for product managers?

According to Glassdoor.com, the average salary for product managers is $130,000. This number can be higher depending on your location, company and previous experience.
  • How much time should I commit?

The product management training course consists of 40 hours of class time and 16 hours of guest lectures during 8 weeks. In addition to the classes, plan on spending 3-5 hours outside of class each week working on homework assignments about your product.
  • What are Product School Certificates?

When product management was first introduced, the only available training was in the form of articles, presentations, and books. By reading these resources, many grasped the iterative nature of product management but missed the principles and practices that are necessary for successful implementation. In response, Product School developed the Product Management Certificate (PMC™), the Full Stack Product Management Certificate (FPMC™) and the Product Leadership Certificate (PLC™).
  • Who is eligible to apply to Product School?

We welcome applications from talented professionals who live close to one of our 15 campuses worldwide or willing to study online.
  • How is Product School different from other product management training programs?

All of our instructors are active product managers at top technology companies. The program is hands-on, designed to be compatible with your work schedule and geared towards helping you transition successfully into a product role.

Student Reviews

Medha Ghatikesh

“I was able to transition from an Android developer role to a product manager role within my company after attending Product School.

Product School taught me the necessary “street smarts” to survive in a challenging, high visibility, high-pressure role such as product management. It helped me ask the right questions from day one as I was familiar with the PM jargons. It gave me the skills needed to demonstrate that I had what it took to be a good PM.”

Jesus Cagide

“The class was very interactive. There were slides that the instructor would talk through, but discussions would quickly evolve. We’d talk through different aspects of Product Management. Everyone would describe their different situations and ask real-world questions. There’d be a lot of debate.”

Natasha Rogen

“I was surprised by how engaging and fun the class was. Through the exercises in class, I was able to start refining my experiences into concrete ideas that could improve our product.

My instructor was incredible, she has offered to be my mentor and she has always been available to answer all my questions.
I was able to move into a PM position at my company from the Customer Experience position.”

Jason Zhao

“My instructor, Jeremy Glassenberg, has over a decade of product experience, dabbles in angel investing, and advises startup accelerators. He shared plenty of insightful real-world examples during class discussions, which shed light on the nuances of being a product manager. I was always impressed with how he made himself available for his students even with his busy schedule.”
