Piya Mukherjee Kalra

Piya Mukherjee Kalra is the Director of Product Management at Disney where she leads the product team responsible for video player and playback experience across all Disney brands. As a product leader, her focus areas are product strategy, road mapping, successful product execution, and growing and mentoring product teams. She's particularly skilled with people and stands out in stakeholder management, team building, and being the user's voice for a product.

Prior to Disney, Piya led the content and playback experience product team for Crunchyroll, the leading Anime streaming platform. In her overall career span of more than two decades, 15+ years of that have been at the intersection of media and product management. From building products from scratch at Deluxe, leading a product through phenomenal growth at Crunchyroll, to now leading well-established products at Disney - Piya has hands-on experience in every phase of the product life cycle.

As a self-taught product leader, actively mentoring and teaching in cohorts is her way of giving back to the product community while creating opportunities for rising product managers.
