Carlos González de Villaumbrosia
CEO of Product School
Carlos González de Villaumbrosia is the founder and CEO of Product School. He has 8 years of experience building teams and digital products in Europe, Latin America, and the U.S. Prior to Product School, Carlos was the co-founder and CEO of 2 ed-tech companies, where he oversaw all engineering, design, product, and marketing efforts, including fundraising and international expansion. Prior to that, Carlos worked as a product manager and software engineer for multiple companies. Throughout his whole career, Carlos has participated as a speaker in more than 1,000 events and classes around the world.
CEO of Visioneer Studios, PM at Pixar
Josh Anon is a director of product management at Magic Leap, and a product management instructor at Product School. He spent the first 10 years of his career at Pixar as a software engineer and a technical director, leading cross-disciplinary teams across the company. From Pixar, he moved to Lytro as a senior product manager. Then, he started his own film studio and worked as a product consultant for a variety of companies. Josh’s passion for education and building products led him to teach at Product School and design to the course curriculum.

Excellent book! Good read for aspiring product managers and product leaders. Most product management books are too theoretical or out of touch with industry practice, yet this book is the exact opposite. Highly recommend!

A good high-level map for a rookie product manager, especially in the context of B2C products. The book is an easy read (though I wish there were more industry examples, especially from the public domain) and builds the overall “process” flow very well, and is quite current in its ideas and approach.
