Swathi Kantharaja

Swathi Kantharaja is currently a Product Manager at Expedia Group, the world’s leading travel company. In the past, she has worked with some of the iconic brands such as BBC and a few start-ups. She has worked on various products ranging from building SEO tools to managing BBC’s VOD platform. She comes from a technical background, before moving into Product Management she was a developer.

Swathi demonstrates excellent communication skills in any team she works with. You will see her being very precise, structured, and organized. She keeps the entire team motivated and aligned. She is very goal and results-oriented and never afraid to stop asking questions to understand the project, product, or process. Swathi encourages other women to get into the tech industry and had been a web development coach at Codebar and RailsGirls events before. She is very passionate about developing effective leadership and communication skills and spreading her knowledge. She is enthusiastic about technology & human psychology and combining the two to build better customer focussed products. In her free time, you will mostly see her with a book.
