Jon Morgan

Jon is a Product Leader with success in launching technical products across industries, regions and product categories. Working from startups to military and large tech companies alike, he’s successfully brought software, hardware, and services to customers at scale, while being responsible for all stages of product development included strategy, building teams, building support organizations, new tech development as well as launch and go-to-market. Currently, Jon is Group Product Manager at Getaround, managing HW & SW Teams enabling cars to be rented and managed remotely at a global scale and leads Full Revamp of Claims & Insurance Teams. Prior to his current position, Jon was a Product Manager at Google for 4 years, where he focused on large screen devices and emerging technologies, lead Product Managers on next-generation Laptop Products, and established the Accessories program for internal and externally created products to support Google Branded HW. Additionally, he was responsible for Account Recovery and Hijacking prevention of Google accounts, launched a new front-end and back-end for Google identity properties impacting Billions of users, and built a cross-functional Internal testing team for confidential pre-release HW. Jon’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Business Administration from Babson College, and Executive Education focusing on understanding AI and its implications on business strategy from MIT. He has a passion for creating new technologies and finding unique business models to bring them to the global market and have led teams to change the “normal”.
