John Schussler

John is a seasoned leader of multi-disciplinary teams with a clear focus on building great customer experiences in mobile, web, and social/omnichannel services. He has a broad design and management experience, with measurable success launching new products for Best Buy, Microsoft, Expedia, and RealNetworks.
 

John began his professional career as a Program Manager at Microsoft. For over 9 years, he has been responsible for UI/UX design, Hardware design, and Project management. Shortly after, he held the position of Program Manager at Cisco, specializing in UI/UX interface design and Usability testing. For each organization he leads, John has demonstrated the ability to merge user-centered design, quantitative & qualitative research data, and agile process to drive effective product development. He is described by his colleagues as a true forward-thinking product visionary who successfully delivers global products by driving a keen awareness of both macro business issues and micro design details.
 

John graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors in English. On top of his academic and professional endeavors, he is also a Helicopter Commercial Pilot and Private Fixed Wing Pilot. He is a sought after speaker who enjoys sharing his passion for technology and his products with a wider audience.
