Danielle Salisbury

Danielle is an experienced and motivated Product Management leader with a background in Design Thinking. She’s fluent in agile design, research methods and passionate about making emotional connections with people through user experience and content. Currently, Daniella is a Technical Product Manager at Zappos, leading a cross-functional team of Engineers, being responsible for the growth of the Engineering team including individuals' career growth, skill set development, and hiring the right resources. Additionally, she provides mentorship on Engineering excellence with a lens on Continuous Improvement and develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce. Prior to her current role, Danielle was a Senior Program Manager at zulify, driving strategic projects across multiple cross-company organizations, leading overhaul to internal Event Management System tools,  and working across the Technology team and Studio on continuous quick fix engineering issues. She first gained experience in Management working at Microsoft for 7 years in various roles. Starting out  as an Operations Program Manager, Danielle managed icon production for Windows, Windows Live, and Internet Explorer User Experience Design and Research team. She then transitioned to a UX Program Manager role, managing the design and implementation process for user-facing features by acting horizontally across Design, Engineering, Brand, Product Planning, and Research. She established and implemented an agile process for UX Design and Research methodology. Danielle is an excellent leader and approaches every project with nuance, always considering the entire chain of impact.
