Dan Smoker

Dan Smoker is a Product Leader with years of experience in Product Management, Software Development, Process Refinement, and Product Development. Currently, he’s VP of Product at Ibotta, leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, analysts, and marketers to measurably grow the e-commerce business. He also owns the product roadmap for all projects related to his initiatives and drives major product initiatives focused on expanding the Ibotta experience to new channels.

Prior to his current role, Dan co-founded Moment Prints, a business he started in order to push his skills in various areas, including product, development, creating stories for the web and mobile applications, creating wireframes and hi-fi designs for use in development, and defining and refining the product backlog. Moment Prints is a consumer solution that allows its users to easily upload and process their photos through their algorithms, in order to remove duplicate, blurry, and poor-quality images, allowing them to pick and print the best photos.

Some of Dan’s major accomplishments include: assisting in the launch and rapid growth of a new therapeutic area (oncology) at a mid-size Contract Research Organization (CRO), cutting operational expenses by over 50% while increasing the efficacy and efficiency of the organization, overseeing development and infrastructure of a multi-million dollar investment, and pushing out a full suite of consumer-focused applications for web, mobile, and desktop in just five weeks.
