Chewy Chong

Chewy Chong is a seasoned Product professional and a thorough leader with extensive experience in the Computer Software industry. He has spent over 13 years at Microsoft, leading the company’s efforts while holding various senior management positions.

Chewy began his career at Microsoft as a Developer Evangelist and Community Manager, where he championed developer technologies with the local communities, start-ups, and government entities through physical and online events. Shortly after, his work took him from Singapore to Redmond, Washington to keep promoting Microsoft’s mission to empower every person and organization in today’s mobile-first and cloud-first world to achieve more.

Later, as a Growth Team Lead for Data, Intelligence, and Experimentation of Windows OS, Chewy led a team of program managers, data scientists, and designers along with user researchers. Under his leadership, the cross-discipline team strived to optimize user engagement and measure the business impact of features. He is currently a Product Leader working on co-innovation.

Chewy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Apart from being a true Product and Technical Business Development professional, Chewy’s other areas of expertise include mobile devices and cloud computing. An inspiring speaker, he strives to keep developing his skills in Product while learning more about how customers make their decisions.
