Andrew Pongco

Andrew Pongco is a seasoned Software Product Manager. Currently, he is leading the transformation from Product to Platform at SailPoint Technologies, an IdentityNow and IdentityAI Platform Services. In his lucrative career, he has worked in the consumer lending space and English as a second language education space. Andrew is a risk taker and a true tech enthusiast Product Management who is curious about the role of technology (such as AI) in second language acquisition.

He has graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a BA in Languages (emphasis in Japanese) and was an MA Candidate in Second Language Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Prior to his current position, he led the company's efforts at Cox Automotive for three years, where his responsibilities included document management systems, task management systems, AWS migration, along with microservices. Prior to that, Andrew has served at TCI Credit, replatforming next generation loan origination systems with client-side configurable auto decision rules. Andrew has also experience in the startup sphere, having built ping2pong, a broker of language exchanges. On top of his academic and professional endeavors, he is also certified as Consumer Credit Compliance Professional, Scrum Product Owner, and PMI Agile Practitioner.
