Weeks 1 to 6: Learn how to build software products

You will learn product management best practices and tools by building a product using the skills learned throughout the class such as scrum, user testing, prototyping, A/B testing, KPIs definition, etc.

Weeks 7 to 8: Learn how to get a job in product

Becoming a product manager is not only about learning hard skills but also about soft skills. We’ll train you in public speaking, stakeholder management and job search strategy to help you stand out above the rest.

Post-Graduation: Ongoing career support

You will be awarded with the software product management (SPM®) certification upon successful completion of the course. We also offer free access to all of our resources until you get a product  job.

The product management training course consists of 40 hours of class time and 16 hours of guest lectures during 8 weeks. In addition to the classes, plan on spending 3-5 hours outside of class each week working on homework assignments about your product.
When product management was first introduced, the only available training was in the form of articles, presentations, and books. By reading these resources, many grasped the iterative nature of product management but missed the principles and practices that are necessary for successful implementation. In response, Product School developed the software product management (SPM®) certification.
We welcome applications from talented professionals with 3+ years of relevant experience who live in California or New York, and want to get a new job or internal promotion within 6 months of completing the course.
All of our instructors are active product managers at top technology companies. The program is hands-on, designed to be compatible with your work schedule and geared towards helping you transition successfully into a product role.
